A refuge from the outside world, Hacienda Manteles is located in the heat of the Ecuadorian Andes. A family-owned Hacienda house which has bee converted into a countryside inn in 1992. This farm, which has belonged to the family for five generations, has kept its original enchanting character.
In the dense and lavish cloud forest located at 3,000 meters (9.840 feet) above sea level, you will find a vast variety of flowers ( such as orchids & bromeliads) and trees. Enjoy the cloud forest’s flora and fauna. If you get lucky you might encounter an oso de anteojos (Andean bear) whose ecosystem. Hacienda Manteles helps to preserve.
