DAY 1: Arrive in Baltra - Transfer to Isabela Island: Flamingos Lagoon
We fly from Quito or Guayaquil to the Island of Baltra. At the airport in Baltra, we will meet up with our English speaking guide who will take us to the port of Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz Island) for lunch. Afterwards, we will take the public speedboat to Isabela (14:00 pm), which lasts approximately three hours. We will arrive to Isabela Island. After arriving at Islabela island, we will take a brief rest at the hotel and head to the Flamingo Lagoon. This place is the largest coastal lagoon found in the Galapagos and is one of the main reproductive sites for the grand majority of flamingos.

DAY 2: – Isabela Is: (choose ONE of the following options):
OPTION 1: Sierra Negra and Chico Hike + Concha Perla:
Early in the morning after breakfast, we will have a full day tour of the Sierra Negra Volcano. This volcano is located 13 miles from Puerto Villamil and is the world's second largest volcanic crater, measuring 6 miles in diameter and 300 feet deep. We will hike the crater and enjoy the view of the beach below before continuing on to Volcan Chico, a still active volcano which warms the surrounding ground. (Box lunch will be provided). In the afternoon, we will return to the hotel and later we will have the opportunity to go snorkeling in Concha Perla, where we will be able to swim with sea-lions and see a variety of colorful fish. (Snorkelling equipment is included in this visit, tube, mask, fins). Accomodation in hotel class of your choice – B – L – D.
OPTION 2: Full Day: Visit Cabo Rosa aka. Tuneles (extra charge):
Cabo Rosa aka. Los Tuneles is perhaps one of the most beautiful sights in the archipelago. Continuous volcanic eruptions petrified into tunnel-like lava formations right in the middle of the sea, and crystal clear turquoise water allows an amazing view of marine vegetation and playful sea lions. The tour begins early at 8:00am via speedboat and the first stop is a small islet in the middle of the ocean, home to pelicans, blue-footed boobies, and sea lions. Finados snorkeling site is the next stop, where you can swim next to sea turtles, Tintoreras sharks (endemic to the islands), trumpetfish and surgeon fish. With some luck, eagle and golden rays will come to this site too. Getting to Los Tuneles will take around 1 ½ – 2 hrs. Once there, the speedboat will navigate through various spots in and around the Lava Tunnels. Here you get the chance to do some more snorkeling and enjoy some short walks while observing the landscape and wildlife inhabiting the area. A box lunch will be provided for this day. Return to Isabela Island is programmed at 15h00. Dinner will be served at the local restaurant specified by the guide. Accomodation in hotel class of your choice – B – L – D
DAY 3: Isabela Island: Tintoreras Islet / Humedales Hike
After breakfast, we will visit the Tintores Islet, named like this after the white-tip sharks known as “tintoreras” which come to rest daily underneath its clear and calm waters. Aside from¨tintorera¨ sharks, you will also get the chance to observe other endemic wildlife like penguins and sea lions. Snorkeling is also great on this spot, you can swim next to colorful fish, sharks and rays. On the afternoon we visit Humedales Complex which includes and exhaustive visit to The Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, famous “Muro de las Lágrimas”, “Mirador Orchidia” viewpoint and “El Estero de Isabela”.

DAY 4: Isabela: Kayaking at Puerto Villamil Bay – Highlands
After breakfast and depending on the tide, we will make our way to the dock and prepare for the kayaking excursion. After listening to the instructions and safety precautions, and once equipped with lifejackets and oars, we will begin rowing towards along all the seas of Puerto Villamil bay and reaching Tintoreras Islet where we will be able to observe a variety of fauna from our kayaks, including Penguins, Blue-footed Boobies, and Marine Iguanas. We will make our way up to El Faro before heading back to shore (appx. 2 hours). After this we will return for a well-deserved lunch.
In the afternoon you will visit the Highlands of Isabela, specifically Campo Duro inhabited by approx. 42 Giant Galapagos Tortoises in a semi-natural protected environment. On the way back we will visit the Mirador del Mango, La Cueva de Sucre, and then return to the hotel to rest before eating dinner at a local restaurant specified by the guide.

DAY 5: Transfer to Santa Cruz Is: Highlands (Tortoises) / Ch. Darwin Station
Early in the morning (06:00 am), we will take the public speedboat from Isabela to Puerto Ayora, where the guide will be waiting for take a breakfast and check in at the hotel. Immediately, we will begin our visit to the Highlands of Santa Cruz Island. In this place we can enjoy a wonderful visit to see giant turtles in their natural habitat. After lunch in the Highlands, we will return to Puerto Ayora and go to the Charles Darwin Research Station interpretation Center. Here we will have the great opportunity to see a large variety of Giant Galápagos tortoises as representatives to the most important islands on the archipelago, and learn about the ongoing efforts to rehabiliate the tortoise populations throughout the Galapagos Islands. DAY 6: Transfer out Baltra Airport (Visit “The Twins” on way out)
After breakfast, we will travel to Baltra Airport. On the way out, we will stop by “The Twins” (a.k.a. “The Gemelos”), which are crater-like formations naturally built from the collapse of the earth and lava flows. The tour will end upon the arrival to the Airport where we will depart to Quito or Guayaquil. -B-
